A Pleasant and Enjoyable Morning with IOI

The multi-award winning IOI City Mall collaborated with Yayasan Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng (Yayasan TSLSC) to organize a fun-filled event as part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives. A total of 14 children from Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Cornerstone and 23 children from Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Lagenda enjoyed a morning with thrilling activities at District 21, a 70,000 sq. ft. indoor action adventure park located within IOI City Mall. The children had a great time taking on some of the exciting rides offered at the theme park such as the largest indoor rope challenge course, Sky Trail and Malaysia’s first indoor Roller Glider, as well as, other activities prepared specially for them such as sand-art and DIY Christmas card-making. They were later treated to a delicious meal specially prepared by Texas Chicken.

Bargain Basement, a community initiative of Yayasan TSLSC, which is a charity retail outlet located in IOI City Mall, contributed its net proceeds worth RM50,000 to five beneficiaries in a cheque presentation by the Executive Director of Yayasan TSLSC, Datin Joanne Wong. Five homes namely Rumah Shalom, Yayasan Seribu Harapan Malaysia, Pertubuhan Anak Yatim Darul Aminan, Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Cornerstone and Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Lagenda received RM10,000 each. This initiative is in support with Bargain Basement’s motto which is “give to inspire others to give”. Additionally, the children also received a school bag and goodie bags distributed by Datin Joanne and General Manager of IOI City Mall, Mr Chris Chong. Items in the goodie bags such as light snacks, drinking bottle and much more were sponsored by Yayasan TSLSC and The Manhattan Fish Market.
