This year, OPPO Malaysia stepped up its efforts in bringing joy and happiness to some 424 children from homes located across Klang Valley, Kota Bharu, Kedah, Johor, Perak, Kuantan, Malacca, Sabah and Sarawak. The homes were provided with essential items and cash donations worth RM200,000 in total.
In the Klang Valley, OPPO visited Pusat Jagaan Kasih Murni to spread joy in the form of fun activities and a ‘buka puasa’ session. OPPO also presented a cash donation to the home.
“Every child is special and deserves to feel happy and secure at all times. The homes that we have visited across the nation do all that they can to ensure that the children are well taken care of which is why we are pleased to make this donation. We believe that with our contribution, they will be able to provide more for the children,” said William Fang, CEO of OPPO Malaysia.
In a move that surprised members of the homes, OPPO also announced that they would be offering job opportunities to children who are eligible to join the workforce.
