Herbalife Nutrition Foundation (HNF), a non-profit organization committed to providing good nutrition and nutrition education to children especially those vulnerable and marginalized, recently announced their third Casa Herbalife Program in Malaysia in partnership with Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/Miskin Rukaiyah (Rumah Rukaiyah/ the Home). Through this partnership, HNF will be providing nutritional support to the children under the care of the Home via an annual grant.
Following the successes of its two Casa Herbalife programs in the country – Good Samaritan Home in Klang and Amitabha Charity Orphanage in Johor Bahru, Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/Miskin Rukaiyah has received a grant of USD10,000 (about RM41,000) from HNF. This contribution is aimed at helping the Home to provide continuous nutritional support for the children’s development.
Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Yatim/Miskin Rukaiyah was established in 2007, and has been supporting orphans and underprivileged children through providing them with a safe and stable environment, education opportunities and regular meals. Currently, the Home has 25 children aged between 10 and 17 in its care.
