SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) Selangor, founded in 1958, is an animal welfare organization based in Ampang Jaya, Selangor. The aim of SPCA is to protect vulnerable animals and to lighten their suffering through adoption programs, investigation of cruelty reports, humane education, assistance to community animal caregivers and running a dedicated, low-cost spay/ neuter clinic. SPCA is a well-respected and trusted non- profit organisation and has gained tremendous recognition from animals lovers all over the country for decades.
Adoption
SPCA is open from 10am to 4pm, every day except Monday. Do drop by the centre choose from a variety of animals of different shapes, sizes, breeds, colors, and characters. These animals will be delighted to have a new home for the rest of their lives.
Donation

Volunteering
Volunteers are required to go through the Pet Care Programme (PCP) to learn the right way to handle the animals. The PCP is a hands-on educational session that teaches volunteers about responsible pet care. Volunteer duties at the centre include cleaning, preparing and serving meals, housekeeping and more.
