Foodpanda Reaffirms Commitment to Delivery Partners with ‘Panda Hearts’

Aug 13, 2024 | CSR Stories

Leading food and grocery delivery platform foodpanda is strengthening its support for delivery partners through its flagship programme, ‘panda hearts’. This initiative focuses on five core areas: safety, well-being, personal development, community, and welfare perks.

With over a decade of experience in Asia, foodpanda has continually refined its delivery partner initiatives, working closely with partners to enhance their work experience. ‘Panda hearts’ will now consolidate existing and new welfare and engagement initiatives across all 11 Asian markets.

Key areas include:

  • Well-being: Health screenings, mental health support, insurance, and fitness events.
  • Safety: Road safety training, app features for safer navigation, and safety bonuses.
  • Personal Development: Upskilling courses, financial literacy workshops, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
  • Community: In-app communication, physical rider hubs, and feedback channels.
  • Welfare Perks: Fuel subsidies, supermarket vouchers, and discounts on motorbike rentals and mobile plans.

Strengthening Safety and Wellness

Recognising the importance of road safety, foodpanda’s initiatives, including road safety training, have led to a significant reduction in accident rates. ‘Panda hearts’ aims to further empower delivery partners, ensuring a safer work environment.

Upcoming ‘Panda Hearts’ Initiatives

  • Personal Development: Bursary awards in Singapore and scholarships for delivery partners’ children in Laos and Cambodia.
