Yayasan MR D.I.Y., the philanthropic arm of Malaysia’s largest home improvement retailer, MR D.I.Y. Group [M] Berhad, is proud to announce one of its community initiatives, the Him and Her Health Run 2026, supported by CSR Malaysia as media partner. This 5KM fun run series aims to unite Malaysians in a collective movement to support children with cancer and heart disease.
The 2026 edition of the run will travel across three major regions to ensure accessibility for all:
- Pulau Pinang: 17 May 2026 (Padang Kawad, USM)
- Sarawak: 19 July 2026 (Padang Merdeka, Kuching)
- Kuala Lumpur: 18 October 2026 (Kepong Metropolitan Lake Garden)
The “Him and Her” theme reflects the Yayasan’s commitment to inclusive health advocacy, specifically highlighting heart health and cancer prevention—issues that affect every Malaysian household, especially children. By encouraging couples, families, and friends to run together, Yayasan MR D.I.Y. hopes to foster a support system that prioritises preventative care and active living.

The Him and Her Health Run is more than just a race; it is a platform to spark vital conversations about health. By bringing this run to Penang, Sarawak, and KL, we are making health a priority, one stride at a time.”
Event Highlights & Entitlements: Open to participants aged 5 until 70, the event is designed to be a family-friendly “fun run.” Every registered participant will receive a comprehensive race kit, including:
- An exclusive Event Tee and Race Bib
- A Limited-Edition Towel and Exclusive Running Cap
- A uniquely designed Finisher Medal upon completion of the 5KM route
- Exciting Lucky Draw prizes awaits
In line with the Yayasan’s “Community” pillar, the event will also feature health awareness booths and community activities at the race village.
