Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad continued its commitment towards community wellbeing through the successful implementation of Matrix Foodbank Drive 5.0 on 28 March 2026 and Matrix Foodbank Drive 6.0 on 23 May 2026, bringing together volunteers, partners and communities in a shared effort to support families in need.
Since its inception, the Matrix Foodbank Drive has grown steadily in both reach and impact. What began as an initiative supporting approximately 40 households has expanded to benefit 62 underprivileged families, reflecting the trust built within the community and Matrix Concepts’ commitment to providing consistent and meaningful support. During Foodbank Drive 5.0, the programme further extended its outreach to include seven former police personnel, bringing the total number of recipients to 69 households.

Beyond the aid distributed, the programme continues to demonstrate the power of volunteerism. Across both editions, more than 270 volunteers from Matrix Concepts and partner organisations came together to support preparation, coordination and distribution efforts. Their collective dedication reflects the growing spirit of compassion, service and community care that continues to drive the initiative forward.

Meaningful partnerships have also remained at the heart of the programme. Built upon Matrix Concepts’ long-term collaboration with Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK), which serves as the foundation of a three-year community impact journey, the initiative continues to unite organisations with a shared commitment to uplifting communities. Matrix Foodbank Drive 5.0 was conducted in collaboration with the Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Negeri Sembilan (IPK Negeri Sembilan), while Foodbank Drive 6.0 was held alongside Alpro Pharmacy. The latter partnership is particularly significant as Alpro Pharmacy is also Matrix Concepts’ joint venture partner in the development of over 130-bed nursing care centre in Bandar Sri Sendayan, demonstrating how collaboration can extend beyond business to create lasting social impact.

As Matrix Foodbank Drive 6.0 marks the completion of Season 1, Matrix Concepts remains committed to expanding the initiative through Season 2 and reaching even more communities in need. Guided by its “Matrix for People” philosophy, the company believes that meaningful progress is best achieved when businesses, communities and partners come together with a shared purpose. The initiative continues to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3) and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17), reflecting Matrix Concepts’ commitment to creating sustainable and inclusive impact for the communities it serves.
