Feb 4, 2020 | CSR Stories

CSR Malaysia recently took part in Majlis Ramah Mesra Perdana Menteri Bersama Rakan Strategik KPLB at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). CSR Malaysia is committed to carrying out its social responsibility initiatives through its strategic partnership with the Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) to make Program Desa Harapan a success.

CSR Malaysia’s Director, Michelle Lee, said to journalists at the event, “The experience and expertise by CSR Malaysia in Malaysian CSR will be used as well as possible to help KPLB in realising their programme’s vision which is to lift the rural community to become a developed community by the year 2025. As strategic partner to Program Desa Harapan, we view the cooperation between the ministry, corporate bodies and rural citizens to improve their socio-economy as something crucial. We are confident the programme will bring about a positive change.”

CSR Malaysia contributed to Program Desa Harapan by providing media coverage worth RM300,000 that will be used on its various media platforms throughout the programme’s duration.
