Her Royal Highness Paduka Puteri Tunku Mariamz Binti Al-Marhum Sultan Iskandar has been recognised for her selfless contribution to mankind at the recent prestigious Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025, held in conjunction with the award’s 10th anniversary celebration.
The special recognition was presented by YB Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Binti Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development. Also present at the ceremony were Dato’ R. Rajendran, Chairman of CSR Malaysia, and Lee Seng Chee, Co-Chairman of CSR Malaysia. The honour reflects Her Royal Highness’s unwavering commitment to community development, social welfare, and humanitarian efforts across Malaysia.
This accolade serves as a testament to HRH Tunku Mariamz’s continued involvement in a wide array of charitable causes, particularly in supporting noble deeds, advocating for healthcare and education and fostering economic collaborations that uplift marginalised communities. Her Royal Highness has consistently demonstrated deep compassion and a tireless spirit in serving others, making her a light of hope and inspiration to many.
One of her recent engagements was her presence at a major event held in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day 2025 in Sabah. In her speech, she movingly described blood donation as a noble sacrifice that saves lives and encouraged the public to consider organ donation as another meaningful way to help those in need. Demonstrating her deep personal commitment to this cause, Her Royal Highness shared that she herself is a registered organ donor—a gesture that speaks volumes of her compassion and dedication to the well-being of others.

Beyond that, HRH Tunku Mariamz has also taken active roles in community outreach, including recent visits to schools and healthcare institutions in Sabah. These visits not only brought smiles and comfort to patients and students alike, but also rekindled cherished memories of her family’s close connection with the state. Her interactions with children and medical staff reflect her genuine interest in the well-being of the rakyat, as she listens, comforts, and supports without hesitation.
As the younger sister of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tunku Mariamz has consistently used her platform with humility and purpose. Whether through personal engagements or supporting broader CSR causes, she has exemplified the values of unity, care, and service. Her efforts go beyond ceremonial gestures—each initiative she undertakes is rooted in a sincere desire to make a difference.
Her Royal Highness’s contributions also extend to promoting economic collaboration and empowering communities, especially in underserved regions. Her presence at CSR-driven events often amplifies the cause and mobilises further support from the corporate sector, aligning their business goals with social good. In a world where royal patronage still holds great influence, her involvement has added both visibility and credibility to causes that matter most.
This recognition is thus more than an award—it is a reflection of a lifetime of purposeful service and compassion. It acknowledges a royal figure who continuously places humanity at the heart of her journey, touching lives across states and generations.
As Malaysia moves forward in building a more inclusive and caring society, personalities like Her Royal Highness Paduka Puteri Tunku Mariamz remain vital in bridging communities, inspiring action, and nurturing hope.
