A Roof Over the Head For Single Mothers

May 22, 2020 | CSR Stories

During the current healthcare crisis, medical frontliners had become the backbone of the nation. With a majority of Covid-19 patients being treated at Hospital Sungai Buloh and Hospital Kuala Lumpur, medical officers who have been transferred from other states are enjoying free accommodation offered by KYY Home. With this initiative, medical officers can take their mind off accommodation issues and reduce travelling time. This is a gesture of appreciation for the dedicated efforts of our medical frontliners, whose professional services are crucial during this time.

KYY Home has focused its social responsibility efforts on the single mothers’ community. Single mothers are experiencing a loss of livelihood and possible unemployment because of the need to stay home and take care of their family single-handedly.

Acknowledging their situation, KYY Home is helping single mothers who are affected by providing them with free accommodation. Through this, the company is upholding one of its principles that no one should be left without shelter even when times are tough.

If you know of single mothers needing a home during this time, please contact KYY home corporate social responsibility manager William See (016-721 9326).
