Recently, the management and employees of AirAsia X Berhad paid a visit to the elderly residents of Ampang Old Folks Home in Kuala Lumpur. Led by Benyamin Ismail, Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia X Berhad, the group distributed gift hampers and money packets to the residents while spending time with them that morning.
Benyamin Ismail said, “We are very happy to be here today to visit these lovely people who have so many life stories to share. Spending time with them has been very rewarding. We do hope that our little visit today have also brought them cheers. We are strong believers in giving back to the communities we serve and we will strive to achieve a perfect balance between business and fulfilling our social responsibilities.”
Established in 1953, the Ampang Old Folks Home located in Ampang New Village is currently housing over 50 elderly residents aged 60 and above. The home takes care of senior citizens without immediate family members such as spouse or children.
