The initiative brought together 30 employee volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to enhancing the zoo’s landscape by planting 120 ornamental plants near the Malayan Tiger exhibition area. The selected species such as Goeppertia Majestica ‘Albo Lineata’, Goeppertia ‘Sanderiana’ and Monstera Deliciosa Liebm that were carefully chosen for their resilience, aesthetic value and ability to contribute to biodiversity within the habitat.

More than a landscaping effort, The Grow Project reflects Bumi Armada’s ongoing commitment to protecting and preserving the natural environment. The programme supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 15: Life on Land by promoting biodiversity conservation and fostering greater awareness of environmental responsibility.
