AIA Bhd, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme AIA Touching Lives, sought to improve the lives of underprivileged children born with heart defects and cleft lips/palate back in 2013. Recently, CSR Malaysia gets in touch with AIA on its Touching Lives programme that focuses on healthy living with an emphasis on activation and programmes that help the community to better and healthier lives; reflecting the importance AIA places on contributing to the sustainability and well-being of the communities it serves.
This year, in conjunction with World Heart Day and World Smile Day, AIA reaffirmed its commitment towards the two causes and raised RM170,000 through its annual Charity Bazaar ran entirely by its employees.
