Didik Charity Golf Tournament 2025: A Swing for Education and Unity

The second edition of the Didik Charity Golf Tournament 2025 took place at Danau UKM Golf Club in Bangi, drawing 80 participants from various sectors, including cooperative members, educationists, entrepreneurs, and 12 ambassadors representing different countries. Organised by the Koperasi Pendidikan Swasta Malaysia or Private Education Cooperative of Malaysia (Educoop), the event aimed to raise funds for educational initiatives supporting underprivileged children.

During the event, donation cheques amounting to RM25,000 were presented to SKT Ladang Bukit Ijok and CSR Malaysia, reinforcing Educoop’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for underserved communities. Chairman Ms. Vijayaletchumi delivered an inspiring speech, while Honorary Chairman Dato’ R. Rajendran played a pivotal role in orchestrating the event for a meaningful cause. His Excellency Mr. Adasher Qodari, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Malaysia, was instrumental in supporting the event, underscoring the international solidarity in promoting education.

The tournament featured various categories, including A Medal, B Medal, C Medal, VIP, Seniors, Ladies, and Junior categories, with trophies awarded to the top performers in each. All participants received medals, celebrating their contribution to the noble cause. An auction was also held, where a painting was sold to raise additional funds for the needy, receiving strong support from the attendees.

Among the big sponsors of the event were Krista Education Sdn Bhd, Starplanet Sdn Bhd (Malaysia’s top concert organiser) and RHA Media Group.

The event successfully highlighted the power of sports in fostering community spirit and supporting educational initiatives, setting a precedent for future charitable endeavors.
