EXIM Bank’s CSR Efforts Go International

Oct 19, 2016 | CSR Stories

Recently, EXIM Bank, in collaboration with EZ Kembara and Yayasan Pembangunan Umat Islam Kemboja (YAPIK), organized their first ever annual international CSR project. Cambodia was selected for this project due to the country’s poor Muslim minority in need of assistance.

The project targeted 3 villages to supply 9 units of wells, 3 units of solar panels, 2 units of low-cost houses, and also made donations to Madrasah the villages. The project took place within a span of 2 days, including site visits and courtesy calls to YB Okhna Othsman Hassan, Minister in the Prime Minister Department and Deputy Minister of Labor, Cambodia, and also the president of Religious Affairs of Cambodia (Mufti).
