Recently, Aidilfitri Fashion Week was held to serve as a platform to promote the local fashion industry and open up opportunities to fashion enthusiasts. New clothing designs and shoes were showcased in conjunction with the Eid celebrations, and will be held annually to help fashion entrepreneurs display their work. Proceeds went to multiple charity bodies such as KIWANIS and children homes to spare a thought for the unfortunate in the spirit of Eid. The event was also graced by MATRADE Chairman Y.B. Dato’ Dr. Noraini Ahmad, organizer Farel Mikhail and local fashion designers.
