Disvinder Magnifique Esthetique conducted its CSR initiative at Kampung Orang Asli Hulu Kuang with the aim to assist the Orang Asli community earn a decent income in selling honey.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Orang Asli community at Kampung Orang Asli Hulu Kuang was facing a disruption of steady income that they needed to feed their family.

Niki Disvinder, founder of Disvinder Magnifique Esthetique came up with the idea of giving a helping hand to the community by assisting them in promoting the sales of their pure honey. “Everyone is facing a hard time during the pandemic, especially the underprivileged groups. I came up with the idea of working with them to sell honey,” says Niki. “The profits that I get from selling the honey will all go to the Orang Asli community that has helped in the sourcing and bottling of the honey.”

The customers would purchase the bottles of honey from Niki and the money earned will be distributed back to the Orang Asli community. “The aid from the government itself is not enough to help sustain them during this difficult times, so I hope this can help ease their burden somewhat.”

“Pure honey has various health benefits such as strengthening our immunity, is rich in antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory effects. It also contains a variety of Vitamin B nutrients and is beneficial to our skin, body and organs,” says Niki who believes that this CSR initiative will not only benefit the Orang Asli community but also helps customers to achieve good health.
