Markel International, the specialist insurer, with involvement from Markel Malaysia headed to Battambang, Cambodia once again (and to Kampong Chhnang) to build homes for the less fortunate, as part of their bi-annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
10 houses were built in total – seven in the Battambang province and three in Kampong Chhnang province.
To ease commute and to be used as a means of transportation for the children to get to school and back home, Markel also provided a tuk tuk for the villagers’ use.
