The grant will support Reproductive Health Talks and deinstitutionalisation efforts, empowering children and strengthening family-based care solutions across Malaysia.
OrphanCare Foundation is proud to announce that it has received a generous grant from Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) under the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to further its mission of protecting vulnerable children and promoting family-based care in Malaysia. The grant will directly fund two core programmes: Reproductive Health Talks for children and youth, and advocacy and support for deinstitutionalisation (DI) — a movement to place children from institutions into loving family environments.
This strategic partnership between OrphanCare and YSD reflects a shared vision: to build a safer, more compassionate society where every child has access to essential knowledge, support, and the right to grow up in a family.
This grant marks a significant milestone in OrphanCare’s journey to create systemic change in child protection and education in Malaysia.
