Running For A Good Cause

Mitrajaya held its first ever charity run at Taman Puchong Prima, Selangor with over 400 participants consisting of staff and members of the public. The objective of the run was to promote healthy living and give back to the society as part of the company’s CSR programme. The event successfully raised a total of RM 48,000 for four charities, namely the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), Yayasan Kebajikan SSL Haemodialysis, Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah Wilayah Persekutuan and The Penang Home for the Infirm and Aged. Mitrajaya’s Group Managing Director, Mr. Tan Eng Piow and the Chairman of the event organising committee, Mr. Ng Kong Huei presented the donation cheques to charity bodies involved. Other activities held were free health screening by the NKF, lucky draw and cake cutting birthday celebrations for staff born in November, December and January.
