YTL Construction, YTL Corp’s flagship construction arm has been recognised for the third consecutive year at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards, receiving two notable accolades namely the Company of the Year (Construction) – ESG Leadership Award and the Long-Standing Excellence Award.

Hosted by CSR Malaysia and officiated by YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, the awards celebrate organisations that demonstrate measurable social outcomes and a clear commitment to environmental responsibility.

This year’s double win reflects YTL Construction’s enduring commitment to building responsibly through climate-resilient infrastructure, educational support programmes, skills development and partnerships that empower long-term community resilience. These efforts are deeply aligned with the wider YTL Group mission of Building The Right Thing for people, the planet and future generations.

“To be recognised three years in a row is a true honour and a reminder that sustainable construction is not just about what we build, but how we build it,” said Yeoh Pei Tsen, Director at YTL Construction. “At YTL, building the right thing means creating lasting value for the communities we serve — with integrity, care and purpose at every step.”

Among the initiatives highlighted were Kelas Kita—an online tuition initiative for underprivileged communities in partnership with YTL Foundation; the official opening of the rejuvenated Yellow House in Kuala Lumpur; and GenConnect: Building Better Together, a forum championing multigenerational collaboration and inclusive workplaces. These efforts are part of a broader push to shape a more equitable and future-ready Malaysia.

As YTL Group marks its 70th anniversary this year, YTL Construction continues to advance its ESG journey as a core part of its business strategy strengthening its legacy of building with conscience, impact and responsibility.
