SPCA Penang was delighted to see so many dogs and cats being remembered during a meaningful afternoon on 30th March, as volunteers from Intel PG8 in Bayan Lepas dedicated their time to hand-paint tote bags.
This unique project was held in conjunction with the International Women’s Day celebration at Intel’s Multi-Purpose Hall. The beautifully finished tote bags were later contributed to society to support fundraising efforts, with some volunteers even purchasing their own creations as a form of donation.
SPCA Penang was also given the opportunity to set up a booth at the event, helping to raise awareness about animal adoption and its ongoing efforts to care for rescued animals.
It extends its sincere thanks to everyone for their generous support through donations and purchases of SPCA merchandise. Heartfelt appreciation also goes out to the organisers for making this event possible.
The hand-painted tote bags are now available for a minimum donation of RM20 each. To purchase one, please drop by the shelter during SPCA Penang’s office hours.
