CSR Malaysia (Pertubuhan Amal Tanggungjawab Kemapanan Dan Korporat Malaysia) recently paid a courtesy visit to YB Lim Hui Ying, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Malaysia, at her office in Putrajaya.
The meeting, graciously hosted by YB Lim Hui Ying and her team, was attended by Dato’ R. Rajendran, Chairman of CSR Malaysia; Lee Seng Chee, Co-Chairman of CSR Malaysia; and Mia Nawawi, Event Director of CSR Malaysia.
The visit served as a meaningful platform for both parties to exchange views on strengthening corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, advancing community development programmes, and fostering greater collaboration between the public and private sectors in addressing social challenges affecting vulnerable communities across Malaysia.
During the discussion, both parties shared insights on empowering women, supporting family well-being, enhancing community inclusivity, and promoting sustainable social impact through strategic partnerships. The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration in programmes that uplift underserved groups, encourage volunteerism, and create long-term
positive outcomes for society.
Dato’ R. Rajendran expressed his appreciation to YB Lim Hui Ying for the warm reception and constructive engagement, reaffirming CSR Malaysia’s commitment to supporting national efforts that contribute to social development and community empowerment.
During the meeting, he emphasised the potential for strategic collaboration between CSR Malaysia and the Ministry to develop and implement meaningful events and programmes that support disadvantaged communities. He expressed CSR Malaysia’s readiness to work closely with the Ministry in mobilising resources, engaging corporate partners, and organising initiatives that provide assistance, empowerment opportunities, and sustainable support for those in need throughout Malaysia.

YB Lim Hui Ying welcomed the engagement and acknowledged the important role played by organisations such as CSR Malaysia in complementing government initiatives through impactful CSR and sustainability programmes.
