Situated on 15 acres in the heart of Sabah, Caring For the Future Malaysia (CFFM) serves as a sanctuary for orphans, underprivileged and marginalised children between the ages of 6 to 18. Since its inception in 2008, CFFM has flourished as both a children’s home and a vibrant community hub, welcoming all regardless of religion, race, or ethnicity.
Mission
CFFM provides a loving, compassionate and faith-centred home for children who have experienced orphanhood, abuse, or neglect. Its mission is to nurture responsible individuals who are committed to caring for:
- Self
- Others
- Communities
- Environment
- Future
Holistic Development
Beyond providing food and shelter, CFFM believes in nurturing the spirits and minds of its children. During their free time, the children have the privilege of learning musical instruments, including the violin, drums, piano and guitar.

Central to CFFM’s approach is the Children Individual Support Program (CISP). Through this customised initiative, every child sets his own specific academic and welfare goals. Its dedicated caregivers provide consistent mentorship, guiding them to achieve these milestones within each four-month cycle.
A Global Hub for Youth Development

CFFM is more than a children’s home; it is a functional base for regional and international youth development. Each year, it hosts approximately 150 students from regions such as Japan and Hong Kong. By collaborating with local NGOs, indigenous villages and schools, it facilitates immersive volunteering experiences that explore the intersections of culture, social dynamics, economics and environment sustainability.
Sustainable Agriculture & Community Training

CFFM’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in its natural farming initiatives, which include dedicated layer and pig farms. These sites function as active training facilities for the local community. It aims to empower and equip the next generation to embrace sustainable agriculture, providing them with the skills to build a future within their own communities rather than migrating to urban centres in search of opportunities.
CFFM’s Philosophy

At the heart of CFFM’s work is the Integration of three core pillars of sustainability:
- Environmental Stewardship
- Economic Resilience
- Social Equity
CFFM believes that by centring its work on these pillars of sustainability, it will continue to flourish—remaining a steadfast beacon of hope for its local community and a light unto the world.
