Pos Malaysia: Delivering Impact Beyond Parcels

May 8, 2026 | CSR Stories

What if a logistics network could do more than deliver parcels? At Pos Malaysia, it does. Its CSR arm, Pos Care, is built on a simple belief: when communities thrive, we thrive together. Across Malaysia, its people and its network are used not only to deliver parcels, but to open doors to education, strengthen community resilience, and support those who need it most.

In 2024 alone, Pos Care:

  • Equipped 863 children with school essentials through its Back-to-School programme;
  • Delivered over 3,000 kg of aid to flood victims in East Malaysia through its collaboration with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society;
  • Rescued 88 pallets of near-expiry food with The Lost Food Project, redistributing them to PPR communities in need;
  • Enabled 80 off-grid Orang Asli homes in Paitan, Sabah to gain access to electricity through the delivery of solar panels in collaboration with SOLS Foundation

Pos Care also empowered employees to champion five grassroots causes through RM100,000 in funding support. These efforts included initiatives that provide counselling, financial aid and corrective treatment for individuals with cleft conditions from B40 families; homes and care for underserved individuals without families, including OKU and the elderly; and youth development programmes in Kudat focused on character-building and nurturing interest in football.

Corporate volunteering further strengthened these efforts: eight employees built homes for the Orang Asli community in Bukit Beruntung with EPIC Homes, while five others installed solar panels for 160 homes in the remote areas of East Malaysia. Rural connectivity was reinforced through 530 Posmen Komuniti, who collectively make nearly 3 million deliveries annually, ensuring even the most isolated communities remain connected.

But the numbers tell only part of the story. Pos Care is about people working together. We Support You empowered employees to channel funding toward causes close to their hearts. Back-to-School opened doors for children to access education with dignity. Corporate volunteering enabled employees to engage directly with communities. And through Delivery4Good, NGOs and social enterprises, including the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, The Lost Food Project, and SOLS Foundation, transformed our logistics network into a powerful force for social impact.

Recognised by CSR Malaysia, Pos Care continues to set the standard for corporate social responsibility in Malaysia, showing that social impact can be woven seamlessly into everyday business. Pos Malaysia aims to solidify Pos Care as a trusted, enduring, employee-powered engine for community connection and care.

Because at Pos Malaysia, it doesn’t just deliver parcels — it delivers purpose.
