ISP Group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting underserved communities through its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme at Rumah Transit Asnaf Melaka in Serkam, Jasin, where the property developer extended assistance to asnaf families and underscored its dedication to meaningful community impact.
The programme was further strengthened by the presence of Melaka State Executive Councillor for Rural Development, Agriculture and Food Security, Datuk Dr. Muhamad Akmal Saleh, reflecting state government support for the shelter’s role in assisting vulnerable families.
Carrying the theme, “Together with the Community, Bringing Goodness, Inspiring Hope”, the visit brought together the public and private sectors behind a shelter that has spent 2 years housing and rehabilitating asnaf individuals in Jasin – from rural development policymakers to corporate donors and the families the shelter serves.
As part of the visit, ISP Group contributed two wheelchairs to support the mobility needs of the shelter’s residents, along with gift bags and cash contributions for 30 asnaf families to help with their daily living expenses.
In his speech, Mr Eric Ng, ISP Group, Managing Director, said, “At ISP Group, we believe that every success we achieve becomes more meaningful when it is shared with those in need. We hope that the assistance extended today will serve as a ray of hope and bring blessings to all.”
He said, as a company that develops spaces for people to live and work, ISP felt a responsibility to support a place doing exactly that for some of our community’s most vulnerable. “This is the kind of partnership we hope to see more of between the private sector and grassroots organisations”,
Mr Ng also paid tribute to the shelter’s founder, Tuan Haji Ustaz Hairul Amin, for his unwavering commitment to supporting asnaf individuals and families in Jasin, providing them with shelter, guidance and a pathway towards self-reliance.
ISP Group is a group of companies involved in the development and investment of industrial properties, particularly in the areas of Logistics Warehouses and Manufacturing Hubs (LWMH) as well as Purpose-Built Workers’ Accommodation (PBWA). Since its establishment in 2022, ISP Group has grown with a vision of creating sustainable legacies and delivering long-term value to society and the nation.
ISP Group said it hopes the visit will encourage closer collaboration between the private sector and state government in supporting asnaf-focused shelters across Melaka.
